The New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy (NWS), prepares graduates of music programs for leadership roles in professional orchestras and ensembles. In the 32 years since its co-founding by Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas and Lin and Ted Arison, NWS has helped launch the careers of more than 1,100 alumni worldwide.

"Beer and Brass" is an interactive concert series developed by the New World Symphony (NWS) that pairs brass quintet music with craft beer from a local brewerie. The series was conceived by New World Symphony brass fellows and has featured Veza Sur Brewing Co. as a partner. The event aims to create a relaxed atmosphere by combining musical performance with beer tasting. 

"Face Off" is a social media series by the New World Symphony (NWS) where individual musicians compete in various musical challenges. These challenges are often humorous and showcase the musicians' skills and personalities. The "face off" format is a playful way to engage audiences and highlight the talent within the orchestra.
